 About ATE: ATE is building the first professional network for hospitality workers—think LinkedIn meets Uber ratings for servers, bartenders, and the people who actually make restaurants run.


For restaurants, we get it: turnover isn't just a line item. It's the countless hours spent recruiting and training, only to start over again. It's your best people burning out because they're constantly mentoring new hires instead of doing what they're great at. It's the chaos of shift coverage, the overtime, the avoidable mistakes when someone gets thrown into the deep end before they're ready. We're building ATE to help you find proven talent and actually keep them.


For service professionals, we see you. The long shifts on your feet, the emotional labor of staying warm and gracious even when you're exhausted, going the extra mile for guests who may never say thank you—and employers who may never notice. You deserve more than feeling invisible. ATE makes your effort, your skill, and your reputation visible and portable, so your excellence finally follows you wherever you go.

The Role: You've worked the floor. You know what it feels like to crush a Saturday night, remember every regular's order, and still feel invisible to anyone outside your current restaurant. You also know what it's like to start over every time you switch jobs.


We need someone who can walk into a restaurant, talk to the GM like a peer, and get them genuinely excited about what we're building. Someone who can rally servers and bartenders into our founding community—not as "users" but as co-creators.


You'll lead:

  • Building our restaurant partner pipeline and founding community of hospitality workers
  • Running feedback sessions and community events that keep us connected to what the industry actually needs
  • Translating what you hear from restaurants and workers into product direction and go-to-market strategy
  • Finding and refining our target audience alongside the founding team
  • Being a thought partner and creative collaborator as we shape the product together


This is a bridge role—connecting what we're building to what restaurants and workers truly need right now. You won't be carrying this alone; you'll be working closely with the rest of the founding team every step of the way.


You might be right for this if:

  • You've spent real time in restaurants—as a server, bartender, manager, or operator
  • People trust you quickly; you build relationships, not just contacts
  • You love startups and thrive in early-stage environments
  • You're a genuine self-starter who's relentlessly resourceful—you figure things out even without a playbook
  • You want to be a creative collaborator and thought partner, not just an executor
  • You care about building something that's actually useful for the industry, not just impressive on paper
